Until recently I delivered a lot of woodburners and lately ( last year or so ) virtually all had a CO alarm with the woodburner .... probably link selling ... but a good idea though !!

 

Not link selling but a Carbon Monoxide alarm is now a legal requirement under the building regs when installing a stove or solid fuel cooker, the recommendation is a sealed 6 year alarm. The alarm needs to be kept in the same room as the appliance.

 

That Screwfix one has a replaceable battery, £25-£35 is the price range, the higher priced ones have the recommended sealed 6 year life.
