Main Duties and responsibilities: Service and repair the company’s fleet of plant and equipment – wood chippers, stump grinders, chainsaws, trailers, strimmers etc. with PUWER record keeping for completed services .Service the on-going requirements of the company’s tree surgery and landscaping crews by ordering and issuing kit and equipment, making repairs and running a store for consumable items (gloves, chains, bar oil and made up 2 stroke mix). Ensuring that the yard and depot are kept clean, tidy and legally compliant.

 

Location of job: 2a Eagle Road, North Moons Moat, Redditch. B98 9HF (could involve travel to 2 other company depots).

 

Salary: Dependant on applicant’s experience.

 

Qualifications required: Driving licence, chainsaw certificate, telehandler certificate.

 

Skills and experience needed: mechanically experienced for plant and 2-stroke servicing and repairs, basic IT skills for sending emails and documenting service records. Must be able to prioritise workload and be prepared to complete all necessary tasks to ensure depot and yard are kept clean and tidy. Knowledge of the Tree Surgery industry is a definite advantage.
