Heya Gents,

I have come to my end of my training and have been working for a while now, but im desperate to get to Canada to do tree work/Forestry for a year or two, You know, while I'm still young and only have my guts to worry about.

Has anyone worked there in the past and know any good companies that need a climber? or If your there now and need a hand?

I have tried Arbjobs.com often, but with not much joy.

Any help would be greatly appriciated!

Cheers!

Google is your friend:biggrin:

Search "tree companies" "arborist" "Canada" "jobs"

I'm sure you'll find something, also if you use the search function here on arbtalk there will be a back log off threads on work in Canada.

Good luck:thumbup:

Just come back from two years out there , my advice go to bc and try some companies there the trees are a lot bigger and more of a challenge be prepared for 8 months of snow shoveling though thats what they all do during the winter months ! Davey tree care are the biggest and prob the best plus they have bases in america which you could get transfered . Good luck !
