Echo CS355T challenges the Stihl top handles?

seriously? surely not.

interesting figures on the comparison chart in the brochure -

http://www.echo-usa.com/CS-355T/CS355T-brochure

oil/petrol caps on a same side though

could be a half decent cheap saw though for anyone bored or annoyed waiting for Husky's T540 and doesn't want to part with their cash for the MS201t.

Yer, being very well received elsewhere Tim; ()

TreeBuzz Board: Echo CS-355T

Funny how people get so used to the brightness of 100W they can't turn 180 and see there's actually 150W on the other side

They miss out some cracking Dolmars and Echos...

Re: Echo challenges the Stihl top handles?

Looks like a very viable option at the moment, useability and power etc would need to be felt I guess but going on the pathetic performance of the 201 and the way Husky have dealt with the release saga of theirs, I'd consider one

Husky did this with their topper, don't recall any issues oher than the handle got in the way of the filler spout.

Re: Echo challenges the Stihl top handles?

That is one slick video and the saw looks like a nice peice of "Arb Candy"...obviously the proof of the pudding is in the eating. i see no problem whatsoever with the oil and fuel filling being so near..i always treat filling my saws like i,m handling mother,s milk anyway...nothing worse than oil spilt on the handle etc...if it does the job well i,d buy one! (Plus,it has a "Palm rest") i like little details like that.
