cold be dirt in the carb if it berb, when the trigger is pulled on

Think I just said that!:confused1:

Oh - one last thing - try the loosening the fuel tank cap and give it a fistfull - if the engine picks up well then check the tank breather.

 

PM me if you need me to look at the saw - good chainsaws MS260 - well worth fixing.

Have you separated the two halfs of the air filter recently? Just asking because I did this not so long ago and forgot to reset the spring loaded choke lever that is inside the filter. Same kind of symptoms. Only realised after an hour of frustration.

Never heard of this and would like to know.

 

I split a new to me 026 pro filter the other day to clean it out big time :001_unsure:and I didnt reset nothing.

 

Could you explain exactly what I am suppose to reset? Everything seems to work proper after reinstall.

 

It's running 3/8-7, but I am going to drop it to 325-7. 026's just dont have the balls to pull 3/8 stihl RSC IMO.

 

I have to be to light handed with 3/8 even in poplar. Video linked.
