If you have a new one, especially the long reach version, make sure it has the heavy fuel filter in the tank otherwise you may experience running problems.

I was using two trimmers today, both Stihl long reach, both having running problems, in-fact, I had to give up with the first one, I am glad they are not mine, fickle things them.
