husky / stihl comparison chart

hi guys,

 

anyone know whereabouts on the interweb there is a chart showing which stihl model is the equivelent husky model ?

 

hope that makes sense

 

been offered a 281XP ?

 

whats the stihl model of the same size n capacity.

 

also, whats the XP mean

well i know the biggest husky on the market is pretty much on par for the 026, so you can work it from there mate, ha ha. just stick to stihl:biggrin:

 

 

 

 

sorry, i could only go on cc, an 026 is about 56cc, 046 is about 80cc and 088 is 126cc i think:thumbup1:

i use an 25inch chain on my 046 and it doesnt know its on, so youwill be fine mate, is it the model with the double dogs on it,(the jaggy bits that stick into the tree when cutting) if so, its the only husky i have ever liked, an animal of a saw.

older huskys are easy as the last two numbers dictate the engine cc's or there abouts .

XP is extra power i think??

its an old saw that model so watch the vibes ! probaly worth buying if its a good price ,last husky i sold was a 288xp and it was a damn good saw! dont listen to stevie about stihl's though i would rather eat my own feces than buy a new one!or old one for that matter........ each to there own though at the end of the day you wont go much wrong with either brand!

more like a 64, the 66 is 95cc i think and the 64 is 88cc i never understood that model as it was exactly the same weight as the 066 i spose thats why the 288 was king of that class??
