Stihl re-call

I had a letter yesterday to tell me Stihl are recalling their MS461, MS461-R, GS461 machines with serial numbers between 173 092 800 and 181 993 952.

There's a potential problem on the fuel line that could result in a fire, so I suggest anyone with a machine that falls within those serial numbers take it back to the suppliers and have it repaired free of charge.

 

I can only hope that the little s**t that stole the one I bought last year doesn't know and that it blows up on him:001_smile:

Or they are stupid and take it into stihl for the recall and you get it back 👍

Thanks for the heads up, just let my customers with these machines know. Wouldn't want them going up in flames but is probably overkill but best to advise them.

I heard about this recall over a year ago in America. Wonder why it's taken so long for the UK to get the recall if affects our saws too
