Battery Pole saws and Oregon PS250 Pole saw

Just been looking at battery pole saws, has anyone any experience of these ? Oregon PS250 is quite affordable if you can't justify the cost of a Husqvarna or stihl, any one got one ?

I have both husqvarna ones, basically the battery top handle on a stick. Great machines. Biggest advantage over the stihl you can actually see what your cutting. Stihl have had to add protective coverings around the motor and as a result it makes it a lot harder to see where the bar is. No such problem on the huskys. No expereince of the Oregon

Did you get the Oregon PS250 in the end? I've been looking at the battery pole saws and, like you, the Oregon seems reasonable compared to the Stihl and Husky.

 

Curious to know if anyone has used one or if they are any better battery pole saws out there for £300 or less.
