what is the daily rate for a self employed groundsman/climber with 1 years experience?

If you're bringing your own saws and climbing kit I'd say 60-70 if I'm being honest. 1 years experience isn't great specially if your asked to climb

I would be looking for £90.00 per day - but you have to take what you can get - when I was climbing full time with 20+ yrs experience, I would get anything from £120 to £250 per day

I'm on £65 a day groundie with nearly two years ex. It'll be going up to £70 soon though.

yea i thought it would be around that. Im only asking because ive asked the guy that i have been working with for about 8 months that i want 80 a day but im not sure that he wants to pay me that. we havnt really discussed it yet but we will be on monday so i just wanted to see whether what i was asking for was too much.

This all makes me sound expensive! I get between 60-80 at one place I sub and 100-120 a day with another with just over a year's experience as a climber . I'm tackling some big jobs though.
