our old makitas are finally on the shelf and we bought a couple of ms150 saws to replace them they seem very well built and are lighter than the makita with more power the only thing that I've noticed is they aren't as frugal on fuel as our old makitas but you don't get more power for nothing early days but I'm impressed so far:thumbup:

Do the exhaust mod it makes a hell of a difference to power.

Had my MS150 nearly a year now so what is involved in exhaust mod,have never touch any of my saws has in modifications but the ms150 is a cracker and just so light .

Theres a thread on here with lots of pictures. I put an 8.5mm hole in mine and made good improvement.

 

Check the fuelling afterwards :thumbup1:
