We are looking for someone long term to undertake technical and none-technical method statements and general health and safety documentation at short notice (1-7 days notice). This will be paid on an hourly rate (£18-£36) an hour or on a quoted one off rate. There is a requirement to fill in approved supplier forms or pqq's if the the person in question wants to undertake that service also.

The method statements and H & S docs will involve large forestry machinery, large chippers / shredders and construction machinery.

The technical aspect will involve embedding in to a document the calculation of safe lifting / pulling loads and ground pressures of different machines on tracks and tyres.

An example of this may be calculating the maximum size timber an excavator reaching down a gradient with a grab could pick up.

Or the safe pulling load of a winch attached to a certain size tractor when winching with out zero movement of the tractor.

Anyone interested ring me if I don't answer leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible

Thank you in advance
