GB Maul

Hi folks

New here, not a professional just someone who likes well made things and being outside as much as possible.

Anyway a while back i treated myself to a GB splitting maul and love it only problem is that i have managed to chip the blade head - fairly badly i would assume.

What are the solutions for this? - not confident to reshape myself - could anyone do this in the Cornwall area (Falmouth/Truro)?

Thanks

Charlie

It's a splitting maul, get someone with an angle grinder to straighten the edge up and put a bit of an edge on it and away you go. I took a chunk out of my cheap maul and had to take 1/2" off the cutting edge. After I sharpened it I found it worked far better than it ever had before.
