Got asked by a friend to make a memorial bench for her brother who passed away at the early age of 43, he was a big cricket fan and played for local club, she wanted something a little different, so made this up, all the timber came from various arbtalkers, the bat was cedar, and the ball and stand wellingtonia, the ball was 2ft round and my first bit of turning on my new lathe.:001_smile:(quite daunting)59766c0d24aee_cricketball012.jpg.3a471fa3a7656c400044ba8f23fffc6f.jpg
