I'm getting 2 or 3 emails a day to my business email address, all from personal names, eg Eve Holland, Sarah May, all offering more or less the same thing - email marketing services. It is getting down right annoying now. I don't want to reply to any of then to tell them to b***er off as they will then know its a valid email address. Does any on know of an organisation I can report them to???

With some email program's you can set actions that will perform a set of tasks and do what you wish. I.e. Search for specific text and delete the message. If the message in the text is fairly generic you could use a phrase so it doesn't catch any other emails you may want.

2 or 3.....think yourself lucky! I get about 100+. They mostly go straight to the spam folder, the ones that don't I mark as spam, and the system learns from this. What are you using for your email program?

It's important to mark spam as 'spam', before getting rid of it. If you simply delete it, your software filters learn nothing. But if you mark the offending ones as spam, then any from the same address regardless of title, will automatically be put in the spam folder

Remember to keep your general software and virus checker up to date, especially with any security patches. Saves a bit of time in the long run.
