Pole pruner keeps tightening chain.

Does anyone know why the chain on a stihl pole pruner would keep going tight?

I've seen it happen a few times over the years but never really got to the bottom of why it does it.

I keep cleaning the head out and readjusting it but very quickly it tightens itself up very tight until it nearly stops the engine.

I cant see how the bar is moving to tighten it? and the adjusting screw seems fine?

Also I get problems when it stops oiling the chain and it needs to be stripped down alot, does this happen to you?

regards

Matt
