Step 1 - Position cord as shown Step 2 - Take a wrap with the tail downwards Step 3 - Take another wrap then pass the tail over the working end Step 4 - And round the back of the rope Step 5 - Pass the tail through the gap Step 6 - Then back around the rope and through the gap again Step 7 - Dress and set, tie a figure 8 stopper knot

Thomas Hutchinson Does this friction hitch work better than blakes ? It sought of looks like a upside down blakes hitch. 30-04-12
