Suggestions for rope to practice knots etc for cs38/39

Hi

Need some help please want to order some rope so can practise my knots and frictions hitches etc for my tests coming up ordered 3mtres of 13mm that right? Also what do I need for the friction hitches? Spliced loop ends or what is best? Also Prusik rope can I get one that will work for practice and then at work any suggestions pls excuse my ignorance

From what I've been reading up on you could do with knowing

Bowline, blakes hitch and figure 8 - which makes up a three knot climbing system

Fisherman's / double fishermans

anchor knot

alpine butterfly

clove hitch

prussik and maybe some other friction hitches.

have a look at the knot guide above, climbingarborist.com also has a selection of knots etc
