Fast Running Bowline

if this is common knowledge then its just me who's learnt something tonight.

 

took me a little while to suss out even watching the slowed down section but after watching and rewinding alot, i have a new trick in the bag.

I think it's like tying a bowline in the bight, like if your balancing a branch and your doing two half hitches and finishing with a bowline, but it's a bit hard so you do that. Yeah. That's right :-)

the rabbit comes out the hole, round the tree and back in the hole again no problems cos nobody was wanting to shoot him or anything

Yeah I know it's not a hard knot to tie using the classic rabbit-hole method, I just hadn't seen it tied like this before and wondered how many other people had seen it. Useful I think in the knot tying section to show there are different ways of tying some knots as I've found that some make sense an stick whereas other don't. God knows how many different ways I've seen to tie an alpine butterfly but only one has stuck with me!
