chipper /tipper hire

Hi, im a self employed gardener and my work has now slowed till about march id say,I'm looking for extra income , just thinking of ways to get it ,would self employed climbers be interested in hiring a man with a chipper and tipper and what would be the going rate per day?

Would a climber want someone without a rescue ticket? How much is a truck and chipper gonna set you back, £10-15k for anything half decent that isn't going to be breaking down all the time and costing you money,?Then have you got the capital to buy it or is it on finance? Then what can you get for a truck and chipper per day? £300 max if you can get it and there are a few threads on here that will say you won't. I would think long and hard about going down this route, there are better ways for a gardener to make money over the winter if you set your mind to it.
