Just ordered echo 620 sx

After, two years of the 560xp I have done it and ordered the 620sx I kept promising myself.

Why you ask? The 560 has done the following;

1. Vibrated bolts out at random. Despite torquing everything I could see when I remembered.

2. How do you blow out the air filter with out blowing dust into it? You need more patience than I.

3. It eats starter pawls and that white plastic bit.

4. It won't start warm, unpredictably and at random, without throwing it whilst holding full throttle on.

5. It occasionally breaks a brake band out of badness.

But I still love it, so it will stay on the shelf full of aspen for days when I have time for it's tantrums.

Nearly all my two stroke kit is now echo.

I will post a review and yes my experience of echo kit is that it takes a minute or so to warm up before the revs pick up quickly. Not an issue if you know and just start the saw whilst you put your harness on or faff about getting wedges and a hammer. It is my brand of choice.

So next stop a bear cat chipper maybe?

Parts a bit slow unfortunately, often a week - through Countax I'm told?

Some of the design/engineering features on the Bearcat chippers are a bit questionable - this comes from the engineer that looks after my equipment. Far better with Jensen, TW etc IMHO

I'm sure others will disagree
