The U bolts on one of the rams decided to give up the other day and I'd like to get both rams serviced/replaced as there has been issues with these before.

Could anyone tell me where I might be able to source a new pair please?

Many thanks

Jonny

Whats wrong with the Rams?

A new set of seals are not very dear. Most hydraulic shops could replace them for you for not much money,or you could do it yourself with some simple tools.

Vice, pipe wrench, something to pick the seals out like a smal screw driver.

Nice one!

Just been quoted £52.50 plus vat for a u bolt!!

The joys of Mog ownership! I asked a supplier in Tewkesbury to supply mine with the upright exhaust, his version fell off quickly and a genuine one from a Mercedes commercial place was £900+vat just for the stench pipe and guard. The silencer had to be cut/shut as it was too complicated and expensive to order the correct unit.

As Mike says, they are only hydraulic pistons and your good local Ag engineer should sort this.

Jonny... is it me or is that ram slightly bent? If it is it would explain a lot..
