Blimley nice body

Having seen this body, got me intrested. Assuming its around 2m in length around 1.80m in width and 1m in height, so capacity of 3.6 cube roughly. If chip weighs roughly 300kg a cube , gives a weight of 1080kg brimmed.

 

Is it a viable body for the truck, would it stand up to use like this over time? Would be interested to hear from anybody with any experience of little tippers like this one, as I've seen a few users have a similar set up on L200s, navaras etc.

Be more concerned that the entire payload is over 1 axle meaning even if your conservative guestimate is accurate, you could still be in axle overload territory at half full

Yeah that's why I went from the standard 5 springs to a 7, gives it an extra tonne unofficially, the original ones with my chipper which is 550kg and normal kit the truck sat very low with not even half a load of woodchip in the truck had bottomed out completely the company I brought the truck off do the conversion also said nah it will be fine but they are another story will never go to them again
