Should this metal part of the tensioner be getting hot while running??

 

Do you mean the idler pulley, If so there would be a bit of warmth in it due friction of belts. If it is hot i would check the bearings in the idler pulley

Yeah I'm thinking it's the bearings in the pulley! Where do I get the two bearings from without buying the whole thing?

Should be able to press bearings out, get numbers off them and have a trip to local bearing supplier. Will try and have a look later on, after a soak food and drink, not neccesarily in that order

Sound job cheers, spectrum plant should have them in stock also?
